A highly respected tier-one engineering contractor is delivering a major city-centre development and is now seeking an experienced BMS Engineer to lead the delivery, integration, and commissioning of Building Management Systems across the site.

This role offers the opportunity to work on a technically complex, multi-building project with significant scope, long-term programme certainty, and strong professional support.

You will take ownership of all BMS activities from late-stage installation through commissioning, integration, testing, and final handover. Acting as the technical authority for BMS on site, you will coordinate across mechanical, electrical, commissioning, and client teams to ensure systems operate seamlessly and meet all performance and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead BMS commissioning activities across multiple buildings
  • Review and manage BMS design documentation, sequences of operation, and control strategies
  • Coordinate BMS contractors, vendors, and commissioning agents
  • Manage functional testing, integrated systems testing, and client demonstrations
  • Ensure energy performance, compliance, and operational readiness
  • Oversee commissioning programmes, test packs, and handover documentation
  • Support client training and post-handover technical support
