Electrical Project Engineer London Our client is an established and respected mechanical and electrical subcontractor working across London and the Southeast. They service Tier 1 & 2 main contracting clients across a variety of sectors including commercial, public sector, energy, pharmaceutical and data centres. Company turnover stands at £85m with ambitious growth plans to exceed £150m in the next few years, they already have £100m secured for 2025 & 2026 and have a very strong cash position to support this growth. Due to this continued growth our client is now seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to take ownership of the Electrical Package on this 3rd Level Education Project for a Tier 1 contractor ensuring concise and timely delivery. Responsibilities Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and scopes, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery. Lead electrical system design, review technical drawings, and ensure compliance with electrical codes and standards. Oversee the procurement of electrical materials and equipment, manage vendor relationships, and ensure timely delivery. Supervise electrical installation, testing, and commissioning, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. Ensure electrical systems meet industry regulations and safety standards, implementing quality control measures. Identify and resolve electrical design and installation issues, managing potential project risks effectively. Oversee testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of electrical systems to ensure proper functionality. Act as the primary technical liaison for clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress. Maintain accurate records, prepare progress reports, and ensure proper documentation of design changes and approvals. Lead and mentor engineering teams, fostering collaboration, training, and professional growth.
