We are currently recruiting for an experienced BMS Engineer to join a leading international engineering contractor working on a major commercial project in London.
The business has an excellent reputation for delivering complex MEP, Data Centre, Mission Critical and commercial projects across the UK and Europe. They offer a strong engineering environment, long-term career development and the opportunity to work alongside experienced project and commissioning teams.
This is a key position supporting the installation, integration, testing and commissioning of BMS systems, working closely with the wider M&E teams, subcontractors, designers and client representatives.
Reporting to the BMS Manager, You will support the coordination, installation, integration and commissioning of BMS systems, ensuring all works are:
- Delivered safely
- Correctly
- In line with project specificationsKey ResponsibilitiesCoordinate BMS activities with wider M&E workstreams.Support BMS installation, testing, commissioning and systems integration.Coordinate BMS works with clients, designers, contractors and project teams.Review and coordinate design information and technical documentation.Support technical submittals and material approvals.Monitor BMS progress against the project programme.Carry out quality inspections and support snagging and close-out.Attend project meetings, engineering reviews and coordination workshops.Support BMS testing, commissioning, witnessing and troubleshooting.support fault finding and technical issues.Coordinate with BMS subcontractors and specialist contractors.Maintain project documentation, reports and records.Support preparation of O&M manuals, QA documentation and handover information.Work closely with the BMS Manager and wider engineering team to achieve successful project delivery.Maintain high standards of health, safety and quality throughout the project.RequirementsPrevious experience as a BMS Engineer / BMS Project Engineer / BMS Commissioning Engineer.Experience working on large-scale commercial, Data Centre or Mission Critical projects.Strong understanding of BMS controls, integration and commissioning.Experience with BMS testing, commissioning, fault finding and troubleshooting.Good understanding of M&E/building services systems.Experience coordinating with subcontractors, designers and project teams.Ability to understand technical drawings and documentation.Strong communication and organisational skills.Relevant Engineering or Building Services qualification.Experience with project and information management systemsPackage80,000–90,000 salary.Accommodation provided.Travel allowance.Additional company benefits.Permanent position.Major London project.Leading international engineering contractor.Exposure to technically complex commercial and Mission Critical projects.Strong training and career progression.Opportunity to work alongside experienced BMS, MEP and commissioning teams.Interested? xbpsjku Apply now with your CV, or get in touch with our team today to find out more about this opportunity.
