A well-established building services contractor is seeking a Junior BIM Coordinator (Mechanical bias) to join an ongoing project in Central London. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 12 years experience looking to develop their BIM career within a fast-paced project environment. You will work closely with design and site teams, supporting coordination of mechanical services and ensuring models are aligned with project requirements. You will play a key role in supporting BIM delivery, coordination, and clash detection across a live project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in coordinating MEP models with a mechanical focus
  • Support clash detection and resolution using BIM tools
  • Work closely with design teams, engineers, and subcontractors
  • Maintain and update federated models in line with project requirements
  • Assist with production of 2D drawings from 3D models
  • Support BIM standards, workflows, and project documentation
  • Attend coordination meetings and contribute to technical discussions
  • Ensure models are aligned with programme and design updates
  • Assist with managing RFIs and design changes
Requirements
  • 12 years experience in a BIM / Revit-based role
  • Mechanical bias or exposure to HVAC / building services
  • Proficiency in Revit (essential)
  • Understanding of BIM coordination and workflows
  • Basic knowledge of clash detection tools (e.g. Navisworks)
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work within a team in a fast-paced environment
Desirable
  • Experience on commercial or fit-out projects
  • Exposure to site-based coordination
  • Understanding of MEP services integration
  • Relevant qualification in Building Services or Engineering
