Project Manager Location: London Sector: Main Contracting / Residential / Mixed Use Project: £20m New Build Social Housing Our client is an international main contractor with an established London regional business, delivering major new build and refurbishment schemes across the capital and surrounding areas. Operating across a diverse range of sectors, they are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to take the lead on a £20m new build residential development for a local Housing Association. The project comprises a traditional build and steel frame structure providing apartments for social housing , together with commercial and mixed-use space at ground floor level. The successful candidate will take overall responsibility for the project, leading the delivery team from construction through to completion and handover. Responsibilities: Take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of the £20m project. Lead and manage the project team, including site management, commercial and engineering functions. Manage the programme, ensuring key milestones and completion dates are achieved. Coordinate construction activities across the residential, commercial and mixed-use elements. Manage subcontractors, consultants and key project stakeholders. Maintain strong relationships with the client, Housing Association, consultants and project partners. Monitor project performance, costs, programme, quality and resources. Manage project risks, change and commercial considerations. Ensure construction is delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications and relevant standards. Lead progress, design, commercial and client meetings. Oversee quality, health & safety, commissioning, snagging and final handover. Provide leadership throughout the project, ensuring high standards of delivery are maintained. Requirements: Degree qualified in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related discipline. Proven experience as a Project Manager with a main contractor. Strong experience delivering major new build projects, ideally £15m+ in value. <...
