Executive Cost Consultant Commercial London
We are currently partnering with a globally recognised construction consultancy with a proven track record in a variety of industries. They have a healthy pipeline of works for years to come and due to continued growth are now seeking an experienced Executive Cost Consultant to join their team in London to aid with various commercial construction projects.
Responsibilities
Strategic Commercial Leadership:
Lead high-value commercial construction projects, providing strategic cost advice from feasibility through to final account. Guide clients through complex commercial decisions with clarity and confidence.
Client Relationship Management:
Act as a trusted advisor to key clients. Build and maintain long-term relationships, lead client presentations and briefings, and drive repeat business through service excellence and commercial insight.
Team Oversight & Technical Direction:
Oversee and mentor cost management teams across multiple projects. Ensure technical quality, consistency, and the development of best-in-class commercial talent within the business.
Commercial Risk & Value Management:
Drive value engineering, benchmarking, and risk mitigation strategies across portfolios. Deliver accurate cost planning, procurement strategy, and robust financial governance at every project stage.
Business Development & Market Influence:
Support senior leadership in identifying new opportunities, contributing to bids, and raising the firms profile in the London market. Represent the consultancy at industry events and contribute to thought leadership.
Requirements
Must have relevant degree level qualification or equivalent trades background
Must have previous consultancy experience on commercial construction projects
Must have 5+ years experience in a similar role
