Electrical Project Manager Hospital Exeter
Our client is a Main Contractor with a proven track record of nationwide coverage of various projects. Specialising in MEP install, they are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join their team in Exeter on a Hospital Construction build until Christmas and then move to another project in Plymouth for 2 years.
Responsibilities
Oversee End-to-End Electrical Delivery
Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of all electrical installation works on-site, ensuring delivery to programme, specification, and quality standards across both hospital projects.
Manage Site Teams & Subcontractors
Supervise electrical site operatives and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to HSEQ policies, daily productivity targets, and site protocols in collaboration with the wider MEP management team.
Client & Stakeholder Coordination
Act as the primary point of contact for electrical works, liaising with NHS Trust representatives, consultants, and internal teams to resolve design or installation issues promptly.
Procurement & Materials Planning
Work closely with the commercial and procurement teams to manage material call-offs, review supplier quotes, and ensure timely delivery of key equipment and components to site.
Progress Reporting & Programme Management
Track and report weekly progress, flag risks or delays early, and support the project manager and construction manager in driving the electrical programme to meet key project milestones.
