Their expertise includes Groundworks & Hard Landscaping, Demolition & Cut & Carve / Soft Strip, Carpentry & Hoarding Works, Diamond Drilling, Brick & Block Work, Fit Out and Concrete Repairs on commercial, residential, education, healthcare and public sector projects. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee the successful delivery of multiple projects simultaneously. Working closely with Directors, Site Managers, commercial teams and clients, you will take full responsibility for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.Key Responsibilities β€’ Manage multiple construction projects simultaneously from pre-start through to final handover. β€’ Oversee Site Managers and project teams, providing leadership and technical support across all live projects. β€’ Ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards. β€’ Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients, consultants, principal contractors and subcontractors. β€’ Monitor project progress, identifying risks and implementing effective solutions to maintain programme objectives. β€’ Attend client meetings, site progress meetings and commercial reviews. β€’ Work closely with the commercial team to manage project costs, variations and contractual matters. β€’ Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental and quality standards. β€’ Coordinate labour, plant, materials and subcontractor resources across multiple sites. β€’ Carry out regular site inspections to monitor progress, workmanship and compliance. β€’ Support business development by maintaining excellent client relationships and identifying future opportunities. Requirements β€’ Previous experience as a Contracts Manager, Senior Project Manager or Project Manager within the construction or civil engineering sector. β€’ Experience managing multiple projects for a specialist subcontractor or main contractor. β€’ Strong knowledge of groundworks, demolition, structural alterations, hard landscaping, fit out or associated specialist construction packages. β€’ Excellent understanding of construction sequencing, commercial awareness and programme management. β€’ Strong client-facing skills with the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships. β€’ Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills. β€’ SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications are desirable. β€’ Full UK driving licence.
