A leading UK-based construction and project delivery specialist is currently seeking an experienced Document Controller to join their growing team in London. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a high-performing business delivering complex, high-value projects across the built environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting project teams through effective document management, control processes, and stakeholder coordination.
This position is fully office-based and requires strong experience using Procore to manage project documentation and workflows.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the full document control process across live construction projects
- Administer and maintain the project Procore system, ensuring all documentation is correctly uploaded, tracked, and distributed
- Control drawing registers, transmittals, RFIs, and revision tracking
- Ensure project information is issued, received, reviewed, and stored in line with internal procedures
- Support design, commercial, and site teams with timely access to the latest documentation
- Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and client teams to ensure document compliance
- Assist with close-out documentation, including O&M manuals and handover packs
- Promote best practice information management and document control standards across the project
- Proven experience as a Document Controller within construction or engineering environments
- Strong Procore experience is essential
- Familiarity with Common Data Environments (CDE) and EDMS systems
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
- Confident communicator, able to work across multidisciplinary teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- £50,000 - £60,000 salary (depending on experience)
