A leading MEP contractor is seeking an Electrical Project Manager to take full responsibility for delivering a high-spec industrial facility in Chichester. Working on complex electrical systems within a fast-paced industrial build, you will lead the project from pre-construction through to commissioning and client handover.
As the Electrical Project Manager, you will coordinate all electrical works including HV/LV power distribution, process control systems, ELV, and specialist industrial electrical services. You will ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead electrical works from design coordination through to final handover
- Oversee installation of HV/LV, containment, lighting, small power, ELV, and process control systems
- Manage subcontractors and direct labour to ensure quality, safety, and programme compliance
- Coordinate with the client, design team, and internal departments to resolve issues
- Maintain control of budgets, cost forecasts, and commercial reporting
- Lead testing, inspection, and commissioning activities
- Ensure all work meets statutory, contractual, and company requirements
Candidate Profile:
- Degree or trade qualification in electrical engineering
- Proven experience delivering electrical packages on large industrial projects
- Strong technical understanding of industrial electrical systems and process control
- Excellent leadership, planning, and organisational skills
- Confident communicator with strong client-facing ability
- Knowledge of relevant safety standards and legislation
