We are currently partnering with a leading Contractor who are active across the UK and Europe. Demonstrating success in an array of sectors including but not limited to, Data Centres, Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, Energy and many more. Due to continued success, they are looking to further strengthen their team with an experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyor in Buckinghamshire.
Responsibilities
- Cost Management Support: Support the commercial team with cost tracking, budget control, and financial reporting across data centre construction packages, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project forecasts.
- Procurement & Subcontract Administration: Assist with the preparation of tender enquiries, analysis of subcontractor returns, and administration of subcontract agreements in line with project and commercial procedures.
- Measurement & Valuations: Carry out measurement and take-offs from drawings and specifications, supporting interim valuations, payment applications, and final account preparation.
- Change Control & Variations: Assist in the identification, pricing, and administration of variations and change events, maintaining accurate records and supporting commercial negotiations.
- Reporting & Commercial Governance: Prepare cost reports, trackers, and supporting documentation, ensuring timely input into monthly commercial reviews and adherence to internal controls.
Requirements
- Must have relevant degree level qualifications or equivalent trades background
- Must have 2+ years experience in a similar role on large-scale construction projects (preferably Data Centres)
- Must be based within a commutable distance of Buckinghamshire
