QA/QC Lead Data Centre Construction£80,000 - £100,000 + Accommodation + Travel + Living Allowance Blyth, England, United Kingdom (On-Site) Full-Time Were recruiting for an experienced QA/QC Lead to join one of Europes leading data centre contractors on a major mission-critical project based in Blyth, England .

This is a site-based quality leadership role responsible for ensuring all construction works are delivered in full compliance with project specifications, company standards, and industry regulations across CSA, Mechanical, and Electrical disciplines on a large hyperscale data centre project.

As QA/QC Lead, you will play a key role in driving quality assurance and quality control systems across site activities, working closely with project management, engineering teams, subcontractors, and client representatives to ensure consistent quality delivery from construction through to commissioning and handover.

Key Responsibilities Lead all site-based quality assurance and quality control activities.

Develop and implement project-specific Quality Plans and procedures.

Conduct regular inspections, audits, and quality checks across all disciplines.

Ensure compliance with company QMS and project quality standards.

Review subcontractor quality systems and ensure alignment with project requirements.

Coordinate with CSA, Mechanical, and Electrical teams on quality delivery.

Liaise with client QA/QC representatives to resolve quality issues.

Maintain detailed quality records, reports, and inspection documentation.

Identify non-conformances and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented.

Support commissioning and handover through quality verification and documentation control.

Promote a strong quality-focused culture across all site teams.

Requirements 5+ years experience in QA/QC roles within construction projects.

Previous experience on Data Centre, Industrial, or Large-Scale Construction projects preferred.

Degree or qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.

Strong understanding of quality management systems and site inspection processes.

Experience using BIM 360 or similar digital quality management tools advantageous.

Strong organisational, communication, and reporting skills.

Experience managing subcontractor quality performance.

Detail-oriented with a strong process-driven mindset.
