Our client, a leading contractor with extensive operations in the UK, is looking for an experienced and organised Bid Coordinator to manage the end-to-end bid process of their projects. As a Bid Coordinator, you will be coordinating with internal and external teams, preparing high-quality proposals, tenders, and pre-qualification questionnaires ensuring compliance with project requirements and standards.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:

  • Work closely with senior management and technical experts across the business to analyse client requirements and ensure all proposals align with project specifications.
  • Identify opportunities through the bid or no-bid evaluation process and manage the preparation and submission of bids in compliance with internal procedures.
  • Gather necessary inputs for proposals and develop and maintain a structured bid plan.
  • Prepare and format bid documents, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with client expectations.
  • Review and proofread proposals to ensure they are error-free, professionally presented, and meet client expectations.
  • Enhance information library by gathering project data and updating sector insights, as well as preparing and formatting high-quality bids with visually appealing graphics.
  • Manage clarifications, amendments, and negotiations during the post-submission phase.
  • Serve as the point of contact for all bid-related communication, ensuring clear and effective collaboration.

Degree/qualification in Level 6 Certificate, business/technical or equivalent.

5+ years' experience as Bid Coordinator within construction.

Proficient in INDESIGN, Word, Outlook and Excel and other relevant software and tools essential to the role.

Strong understanding of the construction process, procurement routes, forms of contract and an eye for detail with commitment to delivering high-quality outputs.

Effective communication skills with strong organisational and time management abilities.
