Our client is a Main Contractor with a proven track record of nationwide coverage of various projects. Specialising in MEP install, they are seeking an experienced Telehandler Driver to join their team in Andover on a Construction project for 4 weeks.
Responsibilities
- Safe Operation of Telehandler Equipment: Operate the telehandler to move, lift, and place materials around the site, ensuring all movements are carried out safely and efficiently.
- Daily Checks & Basic Maintenance: Complete pre-use inspections, report any faults immediately, and maintain the telehandler in a safe, compliant condition throughout the contract period.
- Delivery Support & Material Handling: Assist with unloading incoming deliveries, organising materials, and ensuring stock is safely distributed to work areas as required by the site team.
- Adherence to Site Safety Procedures: Follow all site traffic management rules and health & safety protocols, maintaining safe working practices at all times on a busy construction site.
- Coordination With Site Teams: Work closely with site management and trade teams to prioritise lifts, respond to task requests quickly, and support smooth workflow during the 4-week programme.
Requirements
- Must have valid and relevant certifications
- Must have 3 years experience in a similar role on construction projects
- Must be based within a commutable distance of Belfast
