We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join a major pharmaceutical construction project in Surrey. The role involves supporting mechanical installation, coordination, quality, and project delivery within a highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and support mechanical systems installation, including piping, HVAC, utilities, and process equipment
- Prepare and review method statements, risk assessments, and mechanical construction documentation
- Assist in mechanical design reviews and coordinate with design teams through the RFI process
- Produce mechanical material take-offs, equipment schedules, and technical submissions
- Monitor site progress against programme and issue mechanical progress reports
- Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure mechanical works are delivered to specification and schedule
- Conduct quality inspections, snagging, and compliance checks for all mechanical elements
- Support commissioning teams with testing, handover documentation, and system readiness
- Maintain document control for all mechanical documentation
