We are looking for an experienced and motivated Welder / Fabricator to join our clients growing manufacturing team based in Colchester. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a variety of high-quality fabrication projects within a modern workshop environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the fabrication and welding of components and assemblies using a range of materials, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard of quality and accuracy.
Essential Skills:
- Welding and fabrication experience with:
- Aluminium
- Stainless steel
- Mild steel
- Experience in at least one of the following:
- Laser setting and operation
- Turret punch setting and operation
- Press brake setting and operation
- Waterjet operation
What We're Looking For:
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual and safety conscious
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- 7:30am - 4:00pm
- 40-hour working week
