A leading and rapidly growing operator in the Aparthotel sector is currently seeking a Senior Sales & Business Development Manager to join their Manchester property.
With a strong presence across key European cities and continued expansion into new markets, this is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic brand during a period of significant growth.
This role is ideal for an experienced, driven individual with a strong understanding of the Manchester corporate and group travel market, and a proven track record in Hotel, Aparthotel or Property Sales. Extensive local knowledge is essential.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive local and national sales initiatives, including networking, account management, and attending trade shows
- Identify and secure new corporate accounts, while growing and maintaining existing relationships
- Promote the brand and its portfolio through targeted sales and marketing activities
- Manage enquiries across corporate, group and extended stay segments, ensuring timely and competitive quoting
- Maintain accurate sales records and activity reports
- Support the use and administration of sales and property management systems (e.g. Opera, Salesforce, SiteMinder)
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment across commercial and operational strategies
- Demonstrated experience in Hotel/Aparthotel/Property Sales, Reservations, or Account Management
- Strong network and deep understanding of the Manchester and wider UK corporate travel market
- Proven ability to generate new business and manage long-term client relationships
- Knowledge of platforms such as Salesforce, Opera, IDEAS, Agency360, LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- Understanding of local market trends, GDS knowledge preferred
- Commercially focused with a proactive and data-driven approach
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Willingness to travel for business purposes as needed
