Recruitment Consultant – 360 Role

📍 Location: Colchester (Fully Office‑Based)
💰 Salary: £27,000 – £32,000 + Commission/Bonus (structure under review)

An established client within the Energy and Renewables sector is seeking a dynamic and motivated Recruitment Consultant to join their growing team in Colchester. This is a full 360 position, responsible for managing the end‑to‑end recruitment process – from sourcing and placing candidates to developing new client relationships.

About the Role

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting ongoing recruitment projects while also driving business growth by identifying and onboarding new clients. Working closely with hiring managers, they will provide tailored recruitment solutions that align with the company\’s values and sector expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their recruitment needs and organisational culture.
  • Source, attract, and engage candidates through multiple channels – including job boards, LinkedIn, and social media.
  • Conduct detailed candidate screenings and interviews to assess suitability and cultural fit.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from briefing to offer stage.
  • Generate new business leads and proactively expand the client base.
  • Prepare and present shortlisted candidates with detailed summaries for client review.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in recruitment (agency or in‑house), ideally in a 360 role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build long‑term relationships.
  • Proficient in using a range of sourcing tools and platforms – ideally including LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Experience in lead generation and business development.
  • Highly organised, self‑motivated, and target‑driven with the ability to prioritise in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Team‑oriented with a proactive and professional approach.
