Job Title: Personal Banker\\nLocation: Manchester (Fully Office Based)\\nSalary: £25,500 per annum\\nContract: Permanent\\n\\nAbout the Role\\nWe are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Personal Banker to join our Manchester branch. This role is central to delivering exceptional service to our existing clients, developing new client relationships, and supporting the branch in achieving its sales objectives.\\n\\nAs a Personal Banker, you will be the first point of contact for customers – providing financial guidance, handling transactions, and promoting our products and services. Your ability to build trust, maintain professionalism, and go the extra mile will make you a valued member of our team.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities\\n\\nProactively identify and pursue sales opportunities through referrals, networks, and events.\\n\\nDeliver outstanding customer service via phone, email, and face-to-face interactions.\\n\\nHandle customer queries and complaints promptly and professionally.\\n\\nPromote and cross-sell banking products and services to meet customer needs.\\n\\nSupport business development initiatives, including attending events and networking activities.\\n\\nProcess new account applications, service requests, and AML checks.\\n\\nOperate cash services, maintain accurate registers, and process remittances.\\n\\nProvide cover for colleagues when required and undertake delegated responsibilities from senior management.\\n\\nSkills & Competencies\\n\\nStrong networking and sales skills.\\n\\nExcellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).\\n\\nAbility to establish credibility and rapport quickly.\\n\\nComfortable discussing financial needs and tailoring solutions for customers.\\n\\nPrevious retail sales or banking experience preferred.\\n\\nResults-driven with a proactive, self-motivated approach.\\n\\nReporting Line\\nReports directly to the Area Branch Manager and works closely with the Business Development Manager and Head of Sales.\\n\\nWhy Join Us?\\nThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a reputable banking institution where you'll be supported to develop your career, build lasting client relationships, and make a positive impact on our customers' financial journeys
