About the Opportunity
We are currently recruiting on behalf of an established and growing parking solutions company for an experienced Business Development Manager to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially focused BDM who understands the car parking management and enforcement industry and has a proven track record of generating new business, developing strategic partnerships and securing contracts. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping our client expand their customer base, identify new commercial opportunities and strengthen existing relationships.
The Role
As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving new business and developing relationships with potential clients and partners. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Identifying and pursuing new business and partnership opportunities.
- Developing strong relationships with prospective clients and key decision-makers.
- Generating leads and managing the sales pipeline from initial contact through to contract signing.
- Developing and implementing effective business development strategies.
- Maintaining and strengthening existing client relationships.
- Identifying opportunities to increase revenue and expand the company's market presence.
- Preparing and presenting commercial proposals.
- Negotiating and closing new contracts.
- Keeping up to date with developments and opportunities within the parking industry.
- Providing weekly reports on business development activity, pipeline and progress.
- Working closely with internal teams to ensure the successful delivery of newly secured contracts.
About You
Our client is looking for a confident, proactive and target-driven business development professional who can demonstrate a successful track record of winning new business. You will ideally have:
- 3-4 years' business development experience within the parking industry.
- Essential experience within Car Parking Management & Enforcement.
- A proven ability to identify opportunities and convert them into commercial contracts.
- Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent relationship-building capabilities.
- A strategic and commercially minded approach.
- The ability to work independently and manage your own pipeline.
- A focused, organised and goal-oriented mindset.
- A proven ability to develop and execute successful business development strategies.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is desirable.
