The Role

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Mounter / Goldsmith to join our growing team in Hatton Garden. The successful candidate will play a key role in the production of high-end jewellery, primarily focusing on mounting diamonds and gemstones into fine jewellery and engagement ring settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Mounting diamonds and gemstones into engagement rings and fine jewellery pieces
  • Assembling and finishing jewellery to a high standard
  • Preparing settings for stone setting, ensuring accuracy and quality
  • Carrying out polishing, sizing, and general bench work where required
  • Working closely with setters, designers, and the wider workshop team
  • Maintaining excellent attention to detail and quality control standards
  • Assisting with repairs and alterations when needed

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Mounter, Goldsmith, or Bench Jeweller
  • Experience working with fine jewellery and engagement rings preferred
  • Strong bench skills including assembly, pre-polish, and finishing
  • High level of precision and attention to detail
  • Ability to work efficiently while maintaining exceptional quality standards
