Based in Ipswich, Suffolk. Are you a driven Contract Manager with a passion for delivering complex construction projects safely, on time and on budget? We are looking for a motivated professional to take ownership of precast concrete contracts across multiple sites throughout the UK. This is a hands-on role where you will be at the heart of project delivery from early planning and site visits through to installation, commercial control and final handover.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Contract & Commercial Management
- Support commercial teams in managing contracts and subcontracts
- Track costs, budgets and forecasts
- Prepare variations, claims and extensions of time
- Run installation diaries and coordinate with site and flooring teams
- Attend site meetings and deliver toolbox talks
- Project Coordination
- Plan and coordinate design, production, delivery and installation
- Carry out site visits to assess access, cranes and lifting requirements
- Take pre-install measurements and post-install checks
- Receive and manage site deliveries
- Quality, Health & Safety
- Produce and issue RAMS in line with H&S legislation
- Carry out site audits and enforce quality and safety standards
- Manage internal and client QA processes
- Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare progress and financial reports
- Maintain full contract documentation
- Report project performance to senior management
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in precast concrete or construction contract management
- Strong understanding of design, production and erection processes
- CPCS and SSSTS/SMSTS certified
- Confident with contract negotiation, cost control and delivery
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and project management tools
- A proactive, organised and safety-focused mindset
