In-House Solicitor – Property & Housing Sector
Location: Ilford, East London

We are partnering with a growing organisation in the property management and social housing sector that is looking to appoint an experienced In-House Solicitor. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team, provide high-quality legal support across the business, and build your career within a supportive environment.
The Role
As an In-House Solicitor, you will deliver clear, commercial legal advice to senior stakeholders and colleagues across the organisation. You\’ll also support and mentor a team of paralegals while managing a broad range of legal matters.
Key areas of responsibility include:
- Advising on property law (commercial and residential)
- Handling housing and landlord/tenant issues
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts
- Advising on governance, corporate, and information governance matters
- Supporting litigation and dispute resolution
About You
We are seeking a UK Qualified Solicitor with 2+ years\’ PQE and experience in one or more of the above practice areas. You will also bring:
- Strong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and compliance frameworks
- Previous experience supervising or supporting junior legal staff (desirable)
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
- The ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a varied caseload
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders across the business
