Are you an experienced operations manager looking for your next challenge? We're looking for a hands-on General Manager to lead a busy recycling and waste operation, overseeing transfer station activities, skip hire and metal recycling while driving safety, efficiency and commercial performance.
The Role
- Lead day-to-day recycling and waste operations
- Manage operational teams and site performance
- Drive health, safety and environmental compliance
- Improve productivity, profitability and recycling rates
- Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers and regulators
About You
- Experience in waste management, recycling, scrap metal or a similar operational environment
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Knowledge of UK environmental and health & safety regulations
- IOSH/NEBOSH (preferred)
- A proactive, commercially focused approach
