Job Description
Are you an experienced Pump or Mechanical Engineer looking for a varied, hands-on role with excellent overtime opportunities?
We're recruiting for a skilled Engineer to carry out service, maintenance, overhaul and repair work on pumps, motors and rotating equipment across the local area, typically within a 50-mile radius.
The Role
- Service, repair and overhaul pumps, motors, fans and rotating equipment
- Replace bearings, mechanical seals and complete units
- Maintain sewage pumping stations and associated equipment
- Fault-find on mechanical and electrical systems
- Work directly with customers and site representatives
- Occasional working at height and in confined spaces, training provided for this
- Overtime and call-out available at premium rates
You'll Have
- 5+ years' pump overhaul experience
- 5+ years' motor overhaul experience
- Good knowledge of pumps, motors, inverters and electrical systems
- Understanding of electrical panels and controls
- Strong mechanical fault-finding skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Comfortable travelling locally and working on customer sites

- £35,000-£45,000
- Premium-rate overtime & call-outs

- Monday-Thursday 8:00-4:30 / Friday 8:00-3:30
