If you're from the agricultural machinery world and you're the kind of person who builds proper relationships (not just transactions), this could be a really strong move.

I'm recruiting for an Agricultural Area Sales Manager role based in Colchester, covering a defined territory and selling new and used agricultural machinery plus associated equipment. This is a field-based role where you'll be out seeing customers, understanding what they actually need, and helping them make the right buying decisions, while driving healthy sales performance across your patch.

You'll be representing a well-established dealership and a strong portfolio of brands, so it suits someone who genuinely knows the market, speaks the language, and enjoys being trusted as the go-to person for customers over the long term.

What you'll be doing:

  • Managing a defined sales area and building strong customer relationships
  • Selling agricultural machinery (new and used) and related equipment
  • Spotting opportunities, upselling where it makes sense, and confidently closing deals
  • Keeping your product knowledge sharp and representing the brand portfolio professionally
  • Attending customer events and supporting customer experience end-to-end (including delivery standards)

It's a full-time permanent role with a competitive basic (DOE), commission and a company vehicle, plus a strong benefits package behind it. If you're an agri machinery person who enjoys owning your patch and building proper long-term relationships, I'll happily share the full details (territory, product mix, commission structure etc).

β˜• Sound like you? Drop me a message and I'll send over the full spec.
