An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead a children's residential home in Stafford, WS12. This role is ideal for a dedicated professional who is committed to providing exceptional care and creating a nurturing environment where children and young people can thrive.
As Registered Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the home provides high-quality care, promotes positive outcomes, and operates in full compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a warm, welcoming, and supportive residential home environment.
- Ensure compliance with Children's Homes Regulations and all relevant legislation.
- Deliver high-quality care that supports children and young people to achieve positive outcomes.
- Lead, motivate, and develop a dedicated team of residential care professionals.
- Manage budgets, resources, and the overall operation of the home.
- Safeguard children and young people, working closely with external professionals and stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement and ensure the home's aims and objectives are consistently achieved.
- Promote a positive culture that empowers young people and supports their individual needs and aspirations.
- Extensive experience in children's residential care management.
- Previous experience working within a Learning Disabilities (LD) and/or Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) setting is desirable.
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, regulatory requirements, and safeguarding procedures.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- A commitment to creating a nurturing and empowering environment for children and young people.
- NVQ/QCF Level 3 Diploma for the Children's and Young People's Workforce (or equivalent).
- QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare, or willingness to work towards this qualification.
