We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Senior Structural Engineer to lead and manage a diverse range of schemes, from domestic alterations and extensions to bespoke commercial developments.
As part of an accredited Gold Investors in People multi-disciplinary consultancy, you'll join a collaborative team where your expertise is genuinely valued, with clear pathways for career progression.
Key Responsibilities Perform structural design calculations for steel, concrete, timber, and masonry in line with British Standards and Eurocodes.
Lead projects from conception to completion, ensuring design quality, safety, commercial efficiency, and timely delivery.
Work independently on smaller projects or collaborate as part of a team on larger schemes across multidisciplinary disciplines.
Supervise trial hole investigations for refurbishment works and conduct visual structural inspections.
Mentor junior engineers and foster technical excellence across the team.
Liaise directly with clients, design teams, and contractors, attending project meetings as required.
Contribute to business development, fee proposals, and tender submissions.

Skills: Proficiency in design packages like Tekla, CADS, and Tedds (Auto CAD experience is a bonus) .

Qualifications: Relevant Engineering degree.
Chartered status (ICE or IStruct E) or working towards/close to achieving it.
