The Private Client team advises individuals, families, and trustees on a wide range of personal legal matters including wills, estates, probate, trusts, tax planning, and lasting powers of attorney. Due to growth, the Spalding office is seeking a skilled Private Client Solicitor to join their expanding team.
The Opportunity:
This is an excellent opportunity for a Private Client Solicitor with 3 years PQE or more to join a supportive and well-established team, working on diverse and complex client matters. You will work closely with experienced Partners and fee earners, providing high-quality advice and service in a growing regional office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on all aspects of private client work including wills, estate administration, probate, trust work, tax planning, and lasting powers of attorney.
- Draft and review wills, trusts, and related documents.
- Manage estate and probate matters including applying for grants of probate and administration.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships by delivering a personable and professional service.
- Work collaboratively within the team to support clients and colleagues.
- Contribute to business development and help grow the Private Client practice locally.
- Keep up to date with legal developments and maintain compliance with relevant regulations.
About You:
- Qualified Solicitor with 3 years PQE or more in Private Client law.
- Strong technical knowledge of wills, probate, trusts, and estate administration.
- Excellent drafting and interpersonal skills with a client-focused approach.
- Organised and able to manage own caseload effectively.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Committed to delivering excellent client service and building long-term relationships.
