This is an excellent opportunity for either an experienced fee earner looking to take on a senior role with supervisory responsibilities, or a junior qualified solicitor/legal executive with 3-5 years' PQE looking to further develop their career within a supportive and collaborative environment.
The successful candidate will manage a varied private client caseload while delivering an exceptional standard of client care.
Depending on experience, the role may also involve supervising and mentoring junior members of the team.
The position can be based at any of our offices in Barnstaple, Bideford or Tiverton.
Key Responsibilities Manage a varied caseload of private client matters from instruction through to completion.
Advise clients on wills, probate, estate administration, powers of attorney, trusts and related private client matters.
Deliver a high standard of client service and build strong, lasting client relationships.
Supervise and support junior fee earners where appropriate.
Maintain high levels of technical knowledge and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.
Contribute to the continued growth and success of the Private Client department.
About You Experienced Private Client Fee Earners with the ability to supervise and mentor junior colleagues; or Solicitors, Chartered Legal Executives or other qualified fee earners with approximately 3-5 years' PQE.
Strong technical knowledge of private client law.
Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
The ability to manage your own caseload effectively.
A proactive, organised and team-oriented approach.
