The Litigation team handles a wide range of complex and high-quality dispute resolution matters for individuals, businesses, and organisations. Due to continued growth, the firm is looking to welcome an experienced Litigation Solicitor to their Spalding office.
The Opportunity:
This is an excellent opportunity for a Litigation Solicitor with 3 years PQE or more to join an established team and handle a varied caseload of dispute resolution work. You will work alongside highly regarded colleagues, advising clients on commercial and civil disputes and helping the firm grow its strong local reputation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on a broad range of civil and commercial litigation matters, including contract disputes, debt recovery, property disputes, professional negligence, and other contentious issues.
- Draft legal documentation, prepare court papers, and manage proceedings through to resolution, whether by negotiation, mediation, or trial.
- Represent clients effectively, demonstrating sound judgment and strong advocacy and negotiation skills.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships through excellent communication and service.
- Contribute to business development activities to help expand the firm\’s litigation offering in Spalding and the surrounding area.
- Work collaboratively within the team and support junior colleagues as appropriate.
- Keep up to date with legal developments relevant to your practice area and ensure compliance at all times.
About You:
- Qualified Solicitor with at least 3 years PQE in litigation and dispute resolution.
- Proven experience handling a broad range of contentious matters independently.
- Strong technical skills, excellent drafting ability, and confident in advising clients directly.
- Well organised with the ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- A confident communicator with strong negotiation skills and commercial awareness.
- Proactive, flexible and able to work well within a supportive team.
- Committed to delivering high standards of client care and building lasting relationships.
