The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the
Hotel General Manager , you will take full responsibility for the financial performance, day-to-day operations, and ongoing development of the spa.
You will inspire and support your team while creating an outstanding wellness experience for every guest.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate and develop the spa team to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Oversee the daily operation of the spa, ensuring the highest standards are consistently maintained.
- Provide treatments when required to maximise therapist utilisation and treatment room capacity.
- Manage staff rotas and appointment schedules to optimise occupancy and revenue.
- Drive retail sales and identify opportunities to increase spa income.
- Work closely with the Hotel General Manager to develop marketing initiatives, promotions and seasonal spa packages.
- Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements to enhance the customer experience.
- Stay informed of industry and wellness trends to ensure the spa remains competitive and innovative.
- Prepare monthly management reports, including financial performance, occupancy, guest satisfaction and revenue growth.
About You
We are looking for an experienced spa professional who is passionate about luxury hospitality and developing high-performing teams.
Essential Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Beauty Therapy.
- Minimum of two years' experience in a senior spa management position.
- Previous experience within a luxury spa, hotel or wellness environment.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to manage budgets and drive profitability.
- Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- A hands-on management style with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.
- Flexibility to work Monday to Sunday on a rota basis.
