About the Role
- Advising on a full range of family law matters including divorce, separation, and financial settlements
- Handling private children law cases, including residence and contact arrangements
- Managing domestic abuse and injunction proceedings
- Dealing with TOLATA claims and cohabitation disputes
- Drafting cohabitation and prenuptial agreements
- Ensuring effective financial control and adherence to billing targets
- Supporting colleagues and supervising junior team members as needed
- Following risk management, compliance, and quality control procedures
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualification as a Solicitor or Legal Executive with demonstrable experience in family law
- A minimum of 2 years PQE (guideline only - all levels considered on merit)
- The ability to manage a varied caseload with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and client care skills
- Confidence with IT systems and case management software
- A proactive approach to business development and marketing
- Flexibility to accommodate business needs, including occasional weekend work
