Are you a recently qualified or early-career Family Solicitor looking to develop your skills within a highly regarded, supportive legal practice? My client is looking for an ambitious and compassionate Family Solicitor to join their expanding Family & Childcare team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of one of the region's leading law firms and work alongside specialists who are nationally recognised by Chambers and Partners and The Legal 500.
You will have exposure to a broad range of privately and publicly funded family matters while receiving expert guidance from experienced solicitors and Legal Aid-accredited professionals.
The Role
As a Solicitor in the Family Law department, you will assist with and manage a growing caseload of family matters, including:
- Divorce and separation
- Private and public children's law matters
- Domestic abuse and protective injunctions
- Financial arrangements following relationship breakdown
- Legal Aid and publicly funded family cases
- Supporting senior lawyers with more complex or high-conflict matters
You will work closely with senior colleagues and benefit from hands-on supervision, structured development plans, and the opportunity to grow into a confident, skilled family lawyer.
About You
- Qualified Solicitor (0-4 years PQE) with a passion for family law
- Some experience gained during training or post-qualification in family matters
- A sensitive, client-focused approach and a desire to make a positive difference
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Willingness to undertake Legal Aid work (training will be provided if needed)
- A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn from experienced colleagues
