Senior Associate | Construction Law | Chelmsford or Basildon
A well-regarded Legal500 law firm is seeking an experienced and commercially minded Senior Associate to join its established Construction Law team. The role will involve a mix of contentious and non-contentious construction matters , with the opportunity to play a key role in the continued growth of the department.
The successful candidate will manage their own caseload, provide high-quality commercial advice and support the supervision and development of junior lawyers and fee earners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing and developing a varied caseload.
- Advising clients through research, drafting and negotiations.
- Supervising and mentoring junior team members.
- Supporting file audits, technical guidance and performance development.
- Contributing to business development and identifying new opportunities.
- Maintaining high standards of compliance and client care.
- Supporting improvements to systems, efficiency and service delivery.
About You:
You will be a confident senior lawyer with strong technical expertise in construction law or commercial litigation with construction disputes experience . Excellent client care, communication and leadership skills are essential, alongside a proactive and commercially focused approach.
