Are you an experienced Industrial Mechanical Engineer looking for a hands-on workshop role where you can strip, repair, rebuild, test and manufacture equipment all under one roof? We're looking for an experienced engineer to join an established workshop team, working on a wide range of industrial equipment.

The Role

  • You'll be responsible for the strip-down, repair, overhaul, rebuild and testing of:
    • Single & three-phase electric motors
    • Industrial gearboxes
    • Fans and blower units
    • Industrial pumps, including freshwater and sewage
    • Other industrial machinery

You'll work in a fully equipped workshop where diagnosis, repair, manufacturing, rebuilding, testing and painting can all be carried out on site. Overtime and call-out opportunities are available and are paid at premium rates.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years' experience in pump/electrical motor repair
  • 5+ years' mechanical/electrical engineering experience
  • Strong mechanical experience with industrial fans, motors, pumps and machinery
  • Electrical experience would be highly advantageous
  • Knowledge of electrical controls
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Practical, hands-on approach with strong fault-finding skills
