We have an exciting position for a Group Finance and Compliance Manager to join our Team. Competitive Rate of pay from £30,000 depending on experience and extent of job.
Successful candidates will ensure that the care service adheres to legal regulations, quality standards and internal policies and ensure high-quality care. They audit records, train staff, manage risk, and liaise with regulatory bodies, acting as a crucial link between management and care quality. They are vital in supporting Registered Managers and maintaining safe, compliant care environments.
Key Responsibilities and Role Functions- Regulatory Compliance: Monitoring adherence to Care Quality Commission (CQC) or equivalent standards, ensuring compliance with legal frameworks.
- Audit and Quality Assurance: Conducting regular internal audits, reviewing documentation, and managing risk assessments to identify and close gaps.
- Policy Development: Developing, updating, and implementing internal policies, ensuring staff are trained and aware of regulatory changes.
- Staff Training and Coaching: Ensuring staff competency through ongoing training, mentoring, and support.
- Stakeholder Management: Acting as the main point of contact for external inspectors, local authorities, and partners.
- Finance and Operational Strategies: Design, plan and execute performance management strategies of the group.
- Experience: Previous experience as a Registered Home Manager or in a similar care quality/compliance role is essential.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of care regulations (e.g., CQC regulations in the UK) and best practices.
- Skills: Strong auditing skills, exceptional attention to detail, leadership, analytical and communication skills.
- Education: Nursing qualifications or relevant healthcare management qualifications are highly valued.
