Working for a leading engineering company who design and manufacture an exciting and innovative range of products that are supplied globally, this role would suit a manufacturing engineer looking for a new challenge.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Working with design, production and supply chain to ensure a smooth NPI transfer into production
  • Documentation to support NPI including BOM, process mapping and work instructions
  • Design and build of Jigs and fixtures
  • Working with production operators, technicians and engineers to improve efficiencies
  • Ensuring quality standards are achieved and maintained

You are likely to have relevant mechanical engineering qualifications (eg HNC, HND, BSc or similar) and have worked within assembly type production environments, ideally of electro-mechanical products. A good track record within NPI and experience of assembly processes would be advantageous. A positive approach together with creative problem-solving skills are essential as this is a great opportunity to join a progressive, stable and expanding company.

This role is easily commutable from Cambridge, Cambourne, Braintree, Newmarket, Duxford, Haverhill, Royston, Saffron Walden, Bishops Stortford, Stansted, and many more locations within Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire, Essex, and Suffolk.
