Company Description Liz Linkleter Events is a full service production and design agency, sought out for our creative flair and discerning taste, alongside event management of the highest standard. We are known for our thoughtful and considered event design, as well as our laser-sharp focus on guest experience, service, seamless flow, and atmosphere. Whilst we are aware of trends, we don't feel compelled to follow them, allowing us to deliver weddings and parties that are both original and timeless. We approach every event with a meticulous attention to detail, both in design and delivery, working only with the best suppliers in the industry. Liz is a former Alexander McQueen PR which informs our approach. We are included on the latest Harper’s Bazaar round-up of the Best Wedding Planners in the World, as well as the best planners lists of Over The Moon, The Wed and The Times.

Role Description We are looking for an Event Assistant to support us on a full time basis working across all our event categories – weddings, private parties and brand events. The hours will be 9.30am – 6pm with a one hour lunch break, Monday-Friday. We work from our studio in De Beauvoir, N1, Monday-Wednesday, and then on Thursday and Friday the team have the option to work from home if preferred. The successful candidate will also be required to support the team on event days and evenings, including weekends, in addition to the contracted five days a week, and this could be anywhere in Europe as well as the UK. When a weekend day is worked, a day off in lieu will be given at another time.

Duties The role is a complete event support to the Liz Linkleter Events team.

Duties will be varied, and would include, but not be limited to:

• Research, including venue searches, looking for suppliers, prop and furniture sourcing etc

• Assistance in preparation of proposals, event designs and mood boards, schedules and call sheets

• Database creation and management (press lists, supplier databases, venue databases)

• Sending out Save the Dates and invitations, managing client guest lists and RSVPs

• General administrative tasks, including arranging meetings and booking couriers

• Ensuring the studio is kept tidy and well organised at all times

• Ordering studio supplies and replenishing event kit boxes

• Liaison with suppliers and contractors as required

• Attending site visits and supplier meetings as required

• Basic accounting support such as tracking expenses for events and making minor budget updates

• Event management support at all our events, including pre-event preparation and packing

• Creation of wedding websites

• Any other ad hoc task that the Liz Linkleter Events team may require

Profile We are looking for a highly motivated, intelligent, confident and enthusiastic individual to join our team. Some previous event experience is very useful. IT skills would be a real bonus - Word, Excel, Powerpoint, InDesign, SketchUp, CAD, Photoshop etc. The ideal candidate would be confident when dealing with suppliers both on the phone and over email; a proactive person with excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask. We're looking for someone prepared to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in to a demanding but rewarding and exciting role. We are a small company so this is a very hands-on role, and the successful candidate would be involved in every element of the events we plan.

Experience: 1 year+ event experience is an advantage, but not essential.

Salary £28,000-£35,000 per annum depending on experience
