Livv Housing Group is looking for a new Chair to lead our Board through a significant and exciting next chapter. We own and manage around 13,000 homes across Liverpool City Region and the North West, providing safe, warm homes for 28,000 customers. We work alongside customers, local communities and partners to create places where people can flourish, access support, and build better opportunities for themselves and their families.
This is a high-impact Chair opportunity at a pivotal moment for Livv. This year, we launched our new Corporate Plan, Building a better future, setting out our ambitions to deliver better services, better homes, better opportunities and stronger communities. Our purpose is clear: to unlock potential and give people and communities opportunities to flourish.
We have recently received our latest regulatory judgement from the Regulator of Social Housing, confirming a C1 consumer grading, G2 governance grading and V2 financial viability grading. We are proud of our C1 consumer grading, which recognises the strong progress we have made in delivering services that are shaped by customer needs, insight and feedback. Our G2 grading confirms that we meet regulatory requirements, while recognising that further improvements are needed in assurance and treasury-related controls. Our V2 grading reflects the wider financial pressures facing the sector.
As Chair, you will lead an effective and constructive Board through a period of change. You will support and challenge the Chief Executive, ensuring we remain focused on strategy, governance, assurance, financial resilience and customer outcomes. You will help create the right conditions for strong decision-making, a strong team culture, clear accountability and positive relationships between the Board and Executive Team. We are looking for someone who can bring visible, values-led leadership and who understands the importance of place, partnership and trust. We are ideally looking for an experienced Chair, committee Chair or senior non-executive with a strong understanding of good governance in a regulated environment.
