The Night Concierge is one of the most important front-facing positions within the building, responsible for maintaining the atmosphere, safety, presentation, and resident experience throughout the overnight operation. This role goes far beyond traditional concierge or security responsibilities. The successful candidate will act as the overnight ambassador for both ROCO and LIVINGWAY delivering a calm, polished, hospitality-led experience while ensuring the building operates safely, professionally, and to the highest possible standard always. You will be responsible for creating an environment where residents feel secure, welcomed, supported, and proud to call ROCO home. The ideal candidate will be highly professional, emotionally intelligent, operationally aware, and capable of confidently managing both resident experience and building operations during overnight hours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver a warm, professional, and solutions-focused experience to all residents, guests, visitors, and contractors.
  • Act as the primary overnight point of contact for the building, ensuring all enquiries are handled confidently and efficiently.
  • Build positive and professional relationships with residents to support long-term resident satisfaction and retention.
  • Create a welcoming and well-managed atmosphere throughout the building overnight.
  • Support late arrivals, guest access, resident enquiries, and short-stay guest interactions in line with LIVINGWAY service standards.
  • Ensure all communication reflects the professionalism, warmth, and hospitality-driven culture of LIVINGWAY.
  • Handle challenging situations with professionalism, discretion, and emotional intelligence.

Building Standards & Presentation

  • Maintain exceptional presentation standards across all communal areas, amenities, entrances, reception spaces, and external areas throughout the night.
  • Conduct regular walkthroughs and inspections to ensure the building consistently reflects the quality and standards expected at ROCO.
  • Identify and proactively resolve presentation issues before they impact the resident experience.
  • Ensure amenity spaces are left secure, clean, organised, and ready for daytime operation.
  • Support the preparation and presentation of apartments where required, including arrivals, inspections, and quality control checks.
  • Always maintain pride and ownership over the appearance and atmosphere of the building.

Safety, Security & Compliance

  • Maintain a visible, professional, and reassuring presence throughout the building overnight.
  • Monitor building access, visitor activity, and tailgating to always ensure resident safety and controlled access.
  • Monitor CCTV systems, alarms, and security systems, responding appropriately where required.
  • Conduct regular patrols of internal and external areas.
  • Manage noise complaints, disturbances, anti-social behaviour, and building rule breaches professionally and confidently.
  • Respond calmly and effectively to emergencies, incidents, welfare concerns, or suspicious activity.
  • Follow all company procedures relating to fire safety, health & safety, emergency response, and compliance.
  • Produce accurate handover notes, incident reports, and overnight logs for operational continuity.

Operational Support

  • Support the smooth overnight operation of the building across all departments.
  • Log maintenance issues accurately and elevate urgent matters appropriately.
  • Liaise with the Facilities and Maintenance teams to ensure operational standards are maintained.
  • Assist with deliveries, parcel management, contractor access, and overnight operational requirements.
  • Ensure waste and back-of-house areas remain safe, organised, and well maintained.
  • Support apartment readiness and operational checks where required.
  • Assist with administrative or operational tasks that contribute to the wider success of the building.

Community & Lifestyle

  • Help foster a positive, respectful, and community-driven living environment.
  • Encourage resident engagement with amenities, wellness offerings, and community initiatives.
  • Promote a culture of respect, wellbeing, and pride within the building.
