As a Senior Consultant - SAM/ServiceNow at Livingstone, you will leverage your advanced expertise in Software Asset Management and ServiceNow SAM Pro implementation to lead and deliver complex projects for our enterprise clients. You will be a trusted advisor, capable of managing intricate workstreams with minimal oversight, and effectively communicating with both management and technical stakeholders. Your role extends beyond client delivery, encompassing internal contributions to process improvement, methodology development, and team mentorship.
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead the implementation and delivery of operational SAM services on the ServiceNow platform, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
- Manage audit defense engagements across various software publishers.
- Possess a comprehensive understanding of SAM processes and their integration within broader business operations.
- SAM Maturity – understanding of Assessment process and implementation of improvements.
- Successfully deliver projects and deliverables to meet all SOW specifications.
- Conduct scoping assessments and develop detailed delivery schedules for client engagements.
- Provide expert guidance to senior client stakeholders on SAM process optimization, maturity advancement, and vendor licensing strategies.
- Manage the creation and end-to-end delivery of Tier 1 and complex Tier 2 vendor Effective License Positions (ELPs).
You’ll also:
- Create and deliver impactful presentations for senior-level audiences.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for complex license scenarios and technical design projects.
- Develop risk remediation and opportunity realization plans aligned with client business strategies.
Here’s what we’re looking for:
- 5+ years of consulting experience within the Software Asset Management industry/sector.
- Proven experience in ServiceNow SAM Pro implementation and operations.
- Expertise in leading audit defense engagements for various software publishers.
- Experience working with at least one Tier 1 vendor (Oracle, SAP, Microsoft, IBM).
- Proven track record of delivering end-to-end Effective License Position (ELP) projects.
- Experience conducting SAM process and maturity assessments.
- Strong ability to deliver presentations to senior-level audiences.
- Excellent organizational skills with a focus on efficiency and accuracy.
- Sound understanding of commercial principles and business drivers.
- Extensive experience consulting with senior-level stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on building effective and lasting relationships.
