Supervising and co-ordinating the daily activities taking place in the clinical setting. Ensuring the highest standards of quality and evidence-based care is being provided to patients by yourself, your team and the wider MDT. Support and empower the clinical team and wider MDT through teaching, training and assessing. Promoting positive behaviours and best practice in the clinical setting. Job responsibilities
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain competitive self-pay pricing models based on cost of delivery, market benchmarking, and value-based pricing principles.
- Conduct regular market analysis to ensure pricing remains competitive and aligned with strategic goals.
- Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to assess cost structures and profitability.
- Lead negotiations with private medical insurers and third-party payers.
- Draft and manage commercial contracts, ensuring compliance with regulatory and financial standards.
- Support the CFO in structuring and evaluating new commercial partnerships, including with sports organisations and specialist providers.
- Provide commercial insights and financial modelling to support strategic decision-making.
- Monitor performance of pricing strategies and recommend adjustments to optimise revenue and margin.
- Maintain accurate records of pricing agreements and ensure billing systems reflect current rates.
- Work cross-functionally with finance, business development, operations, clinical teams, and external partners.
- Represent LivingCare in commercial discussions with insurers, consultants, and corporate clients.
Required skills and experience:
- Proven experience in pricing, commercial management, or healthcare finance (ideally 5+ years).
- Strong influencing, negotiation and contract management skills.
- Strategic mindset with ability to identify and develop new commercial opportunities.
- Advanced analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and financial modelling.
- Knowledge of UK private healthcare market and insurer dynamics.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Desirable skills and experience:
- Familiarity with healthcare reimbursement models and regulatory frameworks.
- Degree or professional qualification in Business, Finance, Economics, Law or a related field (MBA or healthcare-specific qualifications desirable).
Person Specification
