Salary: £53,367.92 – £55,221.35 per year (inclusive of Distant Islands Allowance of £2,997 per annum). Relocation package applies. Permanent full‑time post (37.0 hours per week, 52.18 weeks per year).

Responsibilities

  • Provide a high quality service to the public, the business community and external organisations.
  • Undertake the full duties of an Environmental Health Officer in accordance with legislative requirements and the Council’s policies and priorities.
  • Work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Conduct inspections, investigations and inquiries into environmental health matters.
