The role
We’re looking for aCreative Social Media Managerto shape and grow our presence across key platforms for six dynamic, consumer-facing brands and our parent company, Living Planet Distribution.
This is a hybrid role that blends hands-on creativity with strategic thinking. While most of your focus will be B2C, you’ll also support B2B initiatives – including managing our company LinkedIn account and creating social content to support retail partners and the sales team.
Working closely with our Digital Manager and Creative Content Specialist, you’ll be the voice of our brands: full of fresh ideas, ready to spark conversations, and able to deliver content that builds community and drives engagement.
We’re looking for someone who’s both aproactive creator and a confident strategist. A person who can lead content creation while managing workflows, reporting, and cross-team collaboration. An agency background or experience working across multiple brands is highly desirable. We also value candidates who bring broader marketing skills and are looking to grow within the business.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and manage our social media strategy across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms
- Plan, create, and schedule compelling content that grows and nurtures our communities in an authentic, on-brand way
- Be the go-to voice for each brand, aligning content with campaign calendars and marketing strategy
- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to ensure timely, professional responses to DMs, comments, and queries
- Work alongside our digital and creative teams to deliver a cohesive, conversation-friendly social presence
- Use social media tools like Sprout Social (or others you recommend) to streamline workflows and improve performance
- Track and report on KPIs, engagement, sentiment, and channel growth – using insights to inform optimisation
- Stay ahead of platform trends, algorithm updates, and social innovations to keep our brands fresh and relevant
About you
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a social media role, either agency-side or in-house, ideally with multi-brand exposure
- Strong portfolio of creative content and campaign work that brings brand stories to life
- Confident working independently, but collaborative and open to cross-functional teamwork
- Organised and efficient, with experience managing multiple platforms and priorities
- Comfortable using analytics tools to measure impact and refine strategy
- A warm, creative communicator who thrives in a friendly, close-knit team
- Awareness of how social media integrates with SEO, ecommerce, and wider content strategy
Bonus points if you have:
- Design skills (Canva or Adobe Creative Suite)
- Experience in wellness, retail, or food and drink sectors
- Ability to film and edit short-form video for Reels, TikTok, etc.
- Personal blog or social media presence showcasing your content skills
- Experience with influencer marketing and UGC campaigns
