Relocation Co-ordinator – Location: Basingstoke – Contract Type: Office-based, Permanent, Full-Time. Salary up to £26,000 per annum. This is an opportunity to work for an Award-winning business with competitive salary and benefits.

Mears Housing Management in Basingstoke are recruiting a Relocation Co-ordinator to support managers and teams in delivering the Key Worker Accommodation service by providing office management services.

About the Role

As a Relocation Co-ordinator, you will support managers and deliver specified functions at various stages of the process. You will work across occupancy stages and will be trained to work on any part of the process from beginning to end. Reporting to the Team Leader, you will provide a seamless, high-quality relocation service to create a positive first impression for users and the client, including negotiating tenancy terms, ensuring offer conditions are met, managing demanding customers, and prioritising competing needs with professionalism and diplomacy.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver an exceptional service to customers and clients, including managing and meeting expectations.
  • Demonstrate effective objection handling and relationship-building over the phone within strict protocols.
  • Meet contractual and performance targets, including working to tight time frames and ensuring properties meet quality standards.
  • Coordinate with partners and contractors to ensure properties meet scheme standards before move-in; provide office support for field staff.
  • Maintain accurate data and records with professional standard case updates.
  • Finalise tenancy terms, ensuring landlords and agents meet pre-tenancy obligations; deliver updates and escalate as required for full resolution.
  • Contribute to team meetings with ideas to improve working practices and service standards; take responsibility for developing personal skills and understanding of services, processes, technology and issues.
  • Undertake ad hoc projects and provide support/coverage for colleagues and teams within Mears Housing Management.
  • Ensure full compliance with Mears code of conduct, contractual terms and group policies and procedures.

Role Criteria

  • Good communication skills (written and verbal).
  • IT literate with experience using Microsoft packages.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise; well-organised with great attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well under own initiative as well as part of a team.

Additional Information
