About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and proactive Cleaning Supervisor to oversee cleaning operations within our highland schools. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a team of cleaners, ensuring high standards of cleanliness are maintained across all areas, and reporting directly to management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of cleaning staff
- Ensure all areas are cleaned to high standards, including offices, staircases, landings, classrooms, and toilets
- Oversee tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, emptying bins, cleaning sinks, replenishing supplies, and operating cleaning machinery where required
- Train, support, and motivate staff to deliver consistent quality
- Carry out regular inspections to maintain hygiene and safety standards
- Monitor and manage stock levels of cleaning materials
- Report maintenance issues or hazards promptly
- Consistently deliver excellent customer service
- Ensure full compliance with company policies and procedures
Role Criteria:
- Experience in the above duties
- Previous supervising experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication and organisational skills
- IT literate with strong attention to detail
Desirable:
- Previous experience in a cleaning environment
