Overview
Annual salary: up to Β£37,485.00. Location: Tower Hamlets. Employment type: Full Time Permanent. Salary up to Β£37,485 per annum, plus, company van & fuel card. 42.5 hours per week (8-5 Monday β Friday).
We are the largest provider of repairs and maintenance, and regeneration services across the UK. Mears provide tailored rapid-response and planned maintenance services through partnering arrangements with more than 70 local authorities, Armβs Length Management Organisations and Housing Associations.
Day to day duties
- Carrying out reactive carpentry repairs in occupied properties
- Undertaking 1st and 2nd fix Carpentry
- Responsible for duties to include but not limited to β hanging doors, skirting, architraves, fixing windows / doors, lock changes, repairing worktops, kitchen units etc
- Providing high levels of customer care at all times
Role Criteria
- Experience or NVQ in Carpentry
- Social housing experience
- A UK full valid driving license
All our roles require candidates to have the entitlement to work within the UK, Mears does not currently offer visa sponsorship.
To drive a Mears vehicle, you must be aged over 21 have held your licence over 3 months and have less than 9 points.
Candidates should be aware that all our roles are subject to relevant DBS/Security checks before commencement of employment.
