Annual salary: up to £26,984.10

Location: Ilford

Working hours: Monday to Friday

Salary details:

  • 16yrs – 17yrs: £7.71ph, 40 hours per week including time at college.
  • Over 18yrs: £10.71ph, 42.5 hours per week including time at college.
  • Over 21yrs: £12.21ph, 42.5 hours per week including time at college.

Chromebook and uniform will be provided.

Mears Group PLC is a leading provider of housing and care services in the UK, specialising in delivering housing solutions, maintenance services, and care support to a diverse client base.

The apprenticeship will take around 16 months to complete and result in gaining your NVQ level 2 in customer service.

About the role:

As a Business Support Apprentice, you will be developing within the role guided by your mentor. The role will be based within our Administration team within Ilford and will be working alongside the team supporting the R&M Contract. You will be involved in various duties including:

  • Liaising and communicating with stakeholders, clients, and contractors.
  • Compiling reports.
  • Answering queries, complaints, and compliments via email or phone.
  • Undertaking administrative tasks such as typing up notes and attending meetings.

Key Criteria:

  • GCSEs minimum national 4 in Maths and English.
  • Keen to learn.
  • Enthusiastic.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.
