- 16yrs – 17yrs: £7.71 for 40 hours per week including time at college

As a Mears Apprentice, you will be paid above the national minimum wage and for your normal working hours plus time to do your college work. You will gain real-life experiences such as working in people’s homes, getting involved in community projects, and improving people’s lives by being customer-focused. The apprenticeship will take around 16 months to complete and result in gaining your NVQ level 2 in customer service.
About the role:
As a Business Support Apprentice, you will be developing within the role guided by your mentor. The role will be based within our Administration team within Thanet, supporting the R&M Contract. You will be involved in various duties including liaising and communicating with stakeholders, clients, and contractors, compiling reports, and answering queries, complaints, and compliments via email or phone. You will also undertake administrative tasks such as typing up notes and attending meetings.
Key Criteria:
- GCSEs minimum national 4 in Maths and English.
- Keen to learn.
- Enthusiastic.
- Good communication skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.
